Enrollment on CWDS as an Employer

Please follow these simple steps to enroll on the Commonwealth Workforce Development System (CWDS).  These instructions apply to all users who were never enrolled on PA CareerLink’s® website; if you are an existing user, please scroll down further.

  • Select the radio button next to Employer and hit Continue.
  • Type in your Federal Employer Identifying Number (FEIN) and zip code, and then click Locate Business Folder.
  • Review the PA CareerLink® User Policies and press Continue at the bottom of the screen.
  • Begin inputting your business details. Fill out any field designated by a red asterisk. Provide a short description of your business for our staff.  Provide company contact information. When you are done, select the Check Spelling button, before pressing Save and Continue.
  • You will be prompted to enter your individual contact information to become a Point of Contact for the folder. The company’s address and phone number that you provided automatically flow over from the previous screen. If necessary, change that information to reflect your location. Once you are finished, please hit Save and Continue.
  • The same contact screen reappears. Scroll to the bottom and you will see a new section displayed that requires you create a password and select three (3) hint questions and answers. All security elements on our site are case sensitive. Passwords must have at least 8 characters that utilize UPPER CASE LETTERS and lower case letters and numbers. You must use 3 different hint questions and answers. (Hint: print this page for your records before saving.) Once you have finished, hit Save and Continue.
  • The next screen will ask if you are interested in any additional employer services that PA CareerLink® and its partner organizations may offer. If you are interested, please change No to Yes under the selected field next to the specific service. Click Save and Continue when you are finished.
  • You will then be asked to review the information you have just entered. If you need to edit any field, please click the Edit button immediately below the section. Once you are finished, please select Submit for Approval. You will be provided a Keystone ID. Please print this page for your records. Like your password, this Keystone ID is case sensitive and must be entered exactly as it is shown.
  • We verify and approve new businesses on our website within 2 business days. You will not be able to log in until your enrollment has been approved. If you need immediate access, please contact your local PA CareerLink® office at 866-317-5627. Once your business folder is approved, you will be able to log in and post job openings.
  • You can access www.pacareerlink.state.pa.us at any time, 24/7.  We recommend logging onto your business folder often to check your job order activity logs. You will be able to view resumes and contact job seekers.
  • If you need additional assistance at any point (either while registering or when you post a job order), please call 866-317-5627 or visit your nearest PA CareerLink® location.

If you have previously enrolled your business with PA CareerLink® , please follow these instructions to renew access to your business folder on our site:

  • Select the radio button next to Employer and hit Continue.
  • Type in your Federal Employer Identifying Number (FEIN) and zip code, and then click Locate Business Folder.
  • Review the PA CareerLink® User Policies and press Continue at the bottom of the screen.
  • When you find your company’s listing, click on the select button next to the company name and click the blue Join button. The next screen may have a name(s) of possible contacts for this folder. If your name is on the list, please call your local PA CareerLink® to obtain the Access Code to authenticate you to the system. If your name is not listed, click on Create Contact and complete the individual contact information to become a Point of Contact for the folder. Once you are finished, please hit Save and Continue.
  • The same contact screen reappears. Scroll to the bottom and you will see a new section displayed that requires you create a password and select three (3) hint questions and answers.   • You will be provided a Keystone ID. Please print this page for your records. Like your password, this Keystone ID is case sensitive and must be entered exactly as it is shown.
  • We verify and approve new contacts on our website within 2 business days. You will not be able to log in until your enrollment has been approved. If you need immediate access, please contact your local PA CareerLink® office at 866-317-5627. Once your enrollment is approved, you will be able to log in, manage your business folder and post job openings.
